Heaven – Your Reward

Heaven is the best God has for you!

Heaven, our home that will never end, is the best God has for you. The New Jerusalem (aka Heaven) is free from tears, pain and death. Nothing will make you suffer or feel sad (see Revelation 21:4). Your life on earth and all that you have here is temporary. God has a better and timeless place for you. So, be patient your suffering will be worth the reward that is yet to come.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore, we do not get discouraged, for though our physical body is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed daily. 17 For our insignificant troubles [here on earth], which last only a short time, are producing for us an immeasurable, never ending [counter-] weight of splendor [i.e., in heaven. See Romans 8:18]. 18 So, we do not look at the things which can be seen, but at what cannot be seen, for the things which can be seen are [only] temporary, but the things which cannot be seen are never ending. (AUV)

Romans 8:18 What we are suffering now is nothing compared with our future glory. (NIRV) Romans 8:30 And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity]. (AMP)

Suffer now your reward is yet to come

1 Peter 1:3-7 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who through his great mercy has given us a new birth and a living hope by the coming again of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 And a heritage fair, holy and for ever new, waiting in heaven for you, 5 Who, by the power of God are kept, through faith, for that salvation, which will be seen at the last day. 6 You have cause for great joy in this, though it may have been necessary for you to be troubled for a little time, being tested in all sorts of ways, 7 So that the true metal of your faith, being of much greater value than gold which, though it comes to an end, is tested by fire, may come to light in praise and glory and honour, at the revelation of Jesus Christ: (BBE)

Heaven
Conclusion

Heaven is your reward

Luke 6:22-23 God will bless you when others hate you and won’t have anything to do with you. God will bless you when people insult you and say cruel things about you, all because you are a follower of the Son of Man. 23 Long ago your own people did these same things to the prophets. So when this happens to you, be happy and jump for joy! You will have a great reward in heaven. (CEV)

Child of God Jesus has prepared a place for you (see John 14:1). When you were born again, you became a member of God’s family. Like the disciples, your name is written in heaven (see Luke 10:20). Some day in the future we will join Him in our heavenly home (John 14:3).

2 Corinthians 5:1-5 For we know that when this tent we live in — our body here on earth — is torn down, God will have a house in heaven for us to live in, a home he himself has made, which will last forever. 2 And now we sigh, so great is our desire that our home which comes from heaven should be put on over us; 3 by being clothed with it we shall not be without a body. 4 While we live in this earthly tent, we groan with a feeling of oppression; it is not that we want to get rid of our earthly body, but that we want to have the heavenly one put on over us, so that what is mortal will be transformed by life. 5 God is the one who has prepared us for this change, and he gave us his Spirit as the guarantee of all that he has in store for us. (GNT )

The best that God has for us, heaven, is yet to come! Be blessed my friends Tim
