When a person boasts about what they have, what they’ve done, how they look, and/or what they know, they commit the sin of pride. We should direct our praise to God, for without him, we would fail. Pride begins when respect for God ends. Be mindful of your view of self, learn to be humble because pride is arrogance.
When you trust God, you can put your mind at rest, He will never abandon or forget you. God is faithful, gracious, and merciful, he is the one you should build your hopes on!
If you have an unresolved issue (KJV: ought) with anyone, fix it! Why be angry? Why hold grudges? And why not work it out so you can live in harmony with each other? Living in harmony is pleasant; it is precious and refreshing.

Animosity is violent hatred; active, intense hostility; open enmity. Get rid of hatred and enmity before it grows into animosity, a quality not pleasing to God. Whatever obstacles, issues, or situations you encounter, you can go through anything if you apply both patience and endurance. Just keep going. So do not be like the children of Israel; do not complain or give up; go through it.
Continue to accept personal responsibility, because God will hold you accountable for what you do in this life. The Scriptures give an example in Ezekiel 18, it begins with a proverb ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’. The child will no longer be held responsible or accountable for the sins of the parent [see Ezekiel 18:1-4].
Greed should not be part of the Christian character. God has promised His obedient children an inheritance that will last forever. Do not lose yours!
Going from the Law to grace is not easy to understand. The Law required works and strict observance of ceremonies, rituals, and special days. Under grace, you are set free from ceremonies, rituals, and the observance of special days. Jesus fulfilled (completed) the demands (requirements) of the Law and came to give us God’s gift of grace.
Do not give up is a five-part Bible study created for those going through trying times. No matter how hard things are you can make it; God is with you.
