God’s Message Of Love Is For Everyone In The World

"So we know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love. God is love. Everyone who lives in love lives in God, and God lives in them. 1 John 4:16 (ERV)"

STM Bible Snack

So we know the love that God has for us, and we trust that love. God is love. Everyone who lives in love lives in God, and God lives in them. 1 John 4:16 (ERV) [read 1 John 4:12-16 (16)].

God did more than talk about the love he has for everyone. He put it into action, as shown by putting on flesh [John 1:14] and our sins [2 Corinthians 5:21]. That is the ultimate message [teaching; example] of love.

God loved the people in the world so much that he gave his one and only Son to save them. As a result, everyone who believes in the Son will not die. Instead, they will live for ever with God.’ John 3:16 (EASY) [read John 3:1-21 (16)].

God’s Message of LOVE

The Bible makes it clear who we are to love. Let’s look at a few examples:

  1. Each other

I give you a new command: Love each other. You must love each other as I have loved you. John 13:34 (ICB) [read John 13:31-35 (34)].

  2. Enemies

Jesus says “love your enemies”. I.e., people who want to hurt or harm you.
But I am here to tell you a deeper reality: Life is constructed to operate only upon the law of love. So if you want to live, love your enemies and pray for those who mistreat you, Matthew 5:44 (REMEDY) [read Matthew 5:43-48 (44)].

  3. Neighbor as [you do] yourself

“love your neighbor as yourself.” Christ teaches that we love everyone, regardless of their nationality or religious beliefs, [Matthew 19:19, 22:39, and Mark 12:31].

  4. Husbands, love your wives

Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church [Colossians 3:19; 1 Peter 3:7] and gave himself for her. Ephesians 5:25 (EXB) [read Ephesians 5:22-33 (25)].

God’s teaching

As He thus spoke a woman in the crowd called out in a loud voice, “Blessed is the mother who carried you, and the breasts that you have sucked.” 28 “Nay rather,” He replied, “they are blessed who hear God’s Message and carefully keep it“. Luke 11:27-28 (WNT) [read Luke 11:27-28].

Accept God’s message [teaching]; do not reject it; refusing to receive God’s word is the same as refusing God. With love, Jesus delivered God’s teaching of love, so I urge you to receive it with love.

So Jesus told them, “Jesus responded, “My teaching isn’t mine but comes from the one who sent me. 17 Whoever wants to do God’s will can tell whether my teaching is from God or whether I speak on my own.” John 7:16-17 (CEB) [read John 7:10-24 (16-17)].

The ultimate message

The greatest love a person can show is to die for his friends [No one has greater love than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends; Jesus’ death is the ultimate expression of this principle]. John 15:13 (EXB) [read John 15:9-17 (13)].

Believe and receive God’s message of love, it is for everyone in the world. I pray that you have enjoyed and will make the most of this Bible snack. Blessings to you and your loved ones— Tim. ☺
