Wait For God: Never Get Tired; Your Breakthrough Is Coming

During our lifetime, we wait for many things. Hopefully, this snack will make you realize the importance of waiting for God’s guidance in life.

Never get tired of waiting
- Even when things seem hopeless, we should continue to wait in hope for God.

A breakthrough happens to those who wait
- The best breakthroughs happen to those who wait for God!

- Guzik: The fulfillment of our redemption is something still distant, yet we hope for it in faith and perseverance, trusting that God is faithful to His word and the promised glory will be a reality.

- But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive by faith the righteousness God has promised to us. (NLT)

David’s breakthrough: The Philistines defeated

Faith + hope = Patience
- We wait for our future glory. So we are waiting for God to finish making us his children.

- We were saved to have this hope. If we can see what we are waiting for, that is not really hope. People don’t hope for something they already have. 25 But we are hoping for something we don’t have yet, and we are waiting for it patiently. (ERV)
- KJV: For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Letting faith work

God Knows What You Can Handle

- Every test that comes upon you is normal for human beings. But God is faithful: he won’t let you be tested beyond your ability. Along with the testing, he will provide the way of escape, so that you can bear it. (NTFE)

The Lord knows how to deliver

- Since all of this is true, then the Lord knows how to save godly people and keep them safe in times of testing. But he also knows how to keep ungodly people under guard until the day they will be judged and punished. (RAD)
